My scarred body is not explicit. My scars are not dangerous to children. My scars don’t make me scary and they don’t tell you anything about the type of person I am. My scarred body is allowed to exist in public. I’m allowed to be shirtless in the pool and at the beach and I owe nobody an apology or an explanation for that
My deformity isn’t explicit either. It’s not scary. It’s not shameful.
If you can’t cope with people who look different than you, don’t go outside.
